Brand Concept

Taking inspiration from Fleurs' modern skincare approach, I crafted a clean and minimalist website. It features a user-friendly interface for seamless browsing and quick product purchases.

The site provides detailed product descriptions, ratings, and customer reviews. Additionally, to engage our younger audience, I added a "Shop the Look" section. Here, customers can explore how their favourite influencers use the selected products.

Colour Palette

Grey was used as the primary colour with sage green and creme as the accent colour (found mainly in images). The palette was kept neutral to avoid clashing with the product images.

Layout

The website was created using the 12 column grid system. All body copy must be left aligned, except for text that spans the full width of the screen, such as quotes or key information.

Products are organized in rows and columns of four to ensure clarity, with strokes added for visual separation from the background.

There are four button styles, with three featuring strokes for consistency with the brand’s design elements (recurring line elements). The filled "Add to Bag" button creates a sense of urgency and emphasizes its call-to-action role on the page.

The Challenge

To convey a modern, visually-aesthetic website without falling into cliches.

The Solution

In the end, I drew inspiration from fashion websites by utilizing its high contrast and minimal colour scheme. This clean layout highlights the products and images, allowing them to stand out.

Imagery

Overall, images must present muted colours and a subtle yellow undertone with a slight green tint. Images of people must have clean beige backgrounds. Close-ups and extreme close-ups are preferred for products and people.

On the website, products must be presented on a white background.
