Brand Concept
I aimed to combine the serious, contemporary design—common for eco-friendly brands—into my toy store's brand identity. To elevate its appeal, I opted for a high-end approach, focusing on modern style choices that highlight their premium status.
The use of neutral colours reinforces this idea. To balance the seriousness of the modern design, I introduced primary colours—to show the brand’s playful side—with teal as the predominant hue symbolizing their commitment to eco-friendliness.
While the brand primarily caters to parents' aesthetic sensibilities, I ensured it remains child-centric by introducing a playful mascot. This mascot embodies the brand’s values: “making playtime fun and safe for your seedlings and the earth!”

The color palette features muted, neutral tones to convey modernity and professionalism. Our primary color is teal, symbolizing our dedication to eco-friendliness, while the accent colors—primary hues—reflect the playful spirit of children.

Logo Design
The name "Lil Bean" inspired the creation of a symbol that is both literal and emblematic of the brand's essence. A bean pointing upwards signifies growth, reflecting the company's goal to expand its clientele and reach more families seeking eco-friendly toys.
The sprout emerging from the bean not only emphasizes this concept of growth but also represents an umbilical cord, symbolizing the deep connection between families. This design highlights the brand’s commitment to sustainability and its role in nurturing family bonds.

Overall, the packaging was designed with simplicity to emphasize the product inside. Curvy shapes on the packaging echo the bean shape of the logo, creating a connection between the product and the brand. The faded shapes behind the toy pig are intended to suggest movement and excitement–as this toy is durable. Additionally, the illustration on the back of the box mirrors the design style of the toy catalogue, linking the product to the toy collection.
